In 1998, John Fischer opened Fischer’s Auto Repair at 21 Spring Street in Warwick. 22 years later, Fischer’s Auto has become indispensable, a trusted staple of the Warwick community.

Open Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM, Fischer’s Auto Repair is a registered NY State Auto Inspection and complete auto service and repair center, performing comprehensive repairs, maintenance, and diagnostics on a wide range of auto makes and models. John, who holds an ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) Certification as a Master Technician and an AAS degree in Automotive Engineering, is joined by Rick Mouosh, 11-year veteran of Fischer’s, and the most recent addition to the team, James Intveld.
Fischer’s Auto primarily assists customers in Warwick and the surrounding Orange County area. However, as a testament to the great trust gained and the value received from John and the shop’s exceptional service, several customers that have since moved hundreds of miles away still return to Warwick for regular auto service.
John and his wife Johanna’s purchasing of the former creamery on Spring Street was proceeded by a grueling 6-month renovation before their June, 1998 grand opening. Little did they know that their efforts would eventually become a catalyst that gradually remade the neighborhood into one of the hottest merchant areas in the Village of Warwick. In 2007, Fischer’s Auto was a recipient of the Warwick in Bloom Community Beautification Certificate, acknowledging the aesthetic contributions that local businesses are making to the community with plants, flowers, and “curb appeal.”
