Edenville General Store is a family-owned, old-fashioned spot for friends and families to get together and relax over great food and warm conversation. Located in the center of Edenville at 240 Pine Island Turnpike, Debbie Walter and her husband opened the general store in 2014. With a wide range of smoked meats, homemade soups, homemade ice cream, sandwiches, muffins, cookies, beer and cider, and other home-cooked delicacies, they have something to satisfy any appetite any time of the day.
Frank Walter constructed the building in 1952 as an IH (International Harvester) Tractor dealership until 1972. In 1986, Frank’s son, Joseph, and his wife, Debbie, purchased it. After renting it out for several years and having recognized a significant void in a deli or market in the Edenville area, Debbie and Joseph transformed the building and opened the general store in 2014. As they approach the six-year mark in the business, they continue to strive to meet the needs of the local area residents.
Edenville General is also heavily involved in the community, committed to giving back however they can. Most recently, they volunteered to provide meals to the staff at St. Anthony Community Hospital, helping to feed the essential hospital workers tasked with navigating the coronavirus crisis.
We are thrilled to have Debbie and the entire Edenville General team insured with and a part of the Seely & Durland family since 2014!
