In 2013, the NYS Senate amended a 2008 vehicle and traffic law requiring motor vehicles to be cleared of accumulated snow, sleet, hail, or face the consequences with a ticket and a hefty fine. That means even the hard to reach spots on your roof or in the bed of a pickup truck.
